A starter ensures that a fluorescent tube lights up as soon as the light switch is pressed. A starter is, together with a conventional ballast, part of a fixture in which a fluorescent tube is placed. With an electronic ballast, you do not need a starter.
So if you are using a starter in your current fixture with a conventional TL tube, then the starter should be replaced by an LED starter in combination with an LED TL tube. If you purchase a new LED TL, we advise you to check carefully whether a starter is already included. This prevents you from purchasing double starters from us.
