It’s important to clean your printer with Brother LC-223 cleaning cartridges

It is important that you take every step possible to take the best care of your Brother printer, so you can enjoy it for longer. This means cleaning your printhead from time to time! Thankfully, we sell Brother LC-223BK, LC-223C, LC-223M and LC-223Y cleaning cartridges for great prices, as well as a multipack with all four cleaning cartridges. You should be able to get up to 10 cleans with our own-brand cleaning cartridges.

• To start your cleaning process, simply remove the cartridge from its packaging and remove the yellow tape, then remove the orange plastic cover (if any).
• Replace the Brother LC-223 ink cartridges in your printer with this cleaning cartridge.
• On your printer display menu, select Ink or Ink Management and then select Cleaning.
• Select the printhead you wish to clean (black, cyan, magenta, yellow or all).
• After cleaning the printheads twice, let the printer sit for about an hour.
• Then clean the printheads once again.
• Put your regular Brother LC-223 ink cartridges back into your printer, and clean once more.
• Print a test page to see if your printing quality has improved.
