The Makita BL1850 battery from 123ink has a voltage of 18 V and a capacity of 5 Ah. The battery has a power capacity of approximately 90 Wh. The lithium-ion composition ensures that this battery has a low self-discharge. This battery can be used in combination with a large number of Makita 18 V power tools, including all 18 V LXT systems.
In addition, the battery is equipped with four LED indicators. When all 4 are lit, the battery is at 75-100% of its level, with 3 lights at 50-75%, with 2 lights at 25-50% and with 1 light at 0-25%. When this last indicator starts flashing, the battery needs to be charged. Flashing all four LEDs in a two-by-two pattern indicates a malfunction.
