Description

Purple 3D printer filament made from ABS plastic.

This is a thinner, 1.75mm, filament that allows the use of smaller nozzles for higher resolution prints.

About ABS:

Filaments made from ABS print plastics that are hard-wearing and strong; making ABS ideal for printing items that you expect to be used regularly and suffer a lot of wear and tear.

ABS does not do very well at printing fine edges or intricate details. It is far better suited to printing items with a practical application than it is to printing decorative / aesthetic items.

Some flexibility is retained after the printing process so ABS is relatively easy to work with.

Everday uses of ABS:

  • Cases for electronic devices.
  • Bumpers on cars.
  • Plastic plumbing.
