Create an Easter bunny garland

An Easter bunny garland can make a great addition to a window or wall during the festive Easter holiday. It’s a great activity to do with the family and is easy to construct. Below is a free bunny template along with the steps.

Create an Easter garland in 6 easy steps

  1. Select a quality card paper in a colour of your choice

  2. Print out your bunny using this free Bunny template

  3. Cut out the bunnies, folding the paper in half to cut two bunnies at a time.

  4. Colour the Easter bunnies to your taste

  5. Optional: Decorate your bunnies with wiggly eyes and a pom pom tail. (Tip: If you don’t have pom poms you can use cotton wool!)

  6. Make small holes in both ears and thread the Easter bunnies on a string through the holes in the ears or use pegs to hang the garland!

You can also make some Easter egg garlands by cutting paper or card into an egg shape and decorating them to your taste.

  Common questions

How can I make Easter more exciting?

Easter is often thought to be a fun time for kids and a perfect time to get creative. Many Easter games and traditions have become popular over the years, such as Easter egg hunts and even painting hard-boiled eggs! Easter is a time to be celebrated, so why not decorate some of our templates above and send them as a greeting card to your loved ones.

What colours are used at Easter?

When colouring your Easter pictures, there are a few colours you will immediately grab. These are pastel colours such as pink, blue, yellow, lavender and mint green. These hues are traditional for Easter as they are nice Springtime colours. You can find pastel coloured pencils on our website to help bring your bunny’s and Easter eggs to life!

What is the benefit of Easter crafts for children?

Easter crafts are a great way to encourage creativity while the kids are off school! It can also be a fun way to get all the family involved, by getting the older kids to help the younger ones with cutting out their creations and hanging them up. Not only does this benefit creativity in the home, but it also creates time for some family bonding.
