The exact cleaning instructions can vary from printer to printer, but following the steps below should give you an idea of how simple it is!

Remove the cartridges from the packaging and remove the yellow tape. Then remove the orange plastic cover (if any).
Replace the T1295 ink cartridges with the cleaning cartridges.
On the printer’s menu, select Maintenance, then Printhead Cleaning, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Clean the printheads twice and leave the printer to sit for about an hour.
After an hour or so, clean the printheads again.
Place the regular T1295 back in the printer and clean again.
Print a test page to check your new print quality. To do this, select Maintenance on the printer’s menu and then choose Test Page/Nozzle Check.

Your test page should look like this:

If there is any colour missing in the above image, we recommend allowing the printer to stand for up to 24 hours and then using the cleaning cartridges to clean the printheads again. If you have carried out all of these cleans and your print quality has not improved, it means the printhead has dried up too much and the problem can no longer be solved with cleaning fluid.
