Description

Light blue filament for 3D printing, made from ABS.

1.75mm filaments allow you to print in higher resolution by making it much easier to print with smaller nozzles.

About ABS:

ABS is a tough and sturdy plastic that is resistant to high ambient temperatures; it is ideal for making items that you expect to go through constant use and withstand a fair bit of punishment.

ABS retains some of its flexibility after printing so you can continue to work on it to some extent once the intial print is finished.

While ABS is a hard-wearing material it is not very good for printing fine edges and details. ABS is best used for objects intended to fulfil a practical, rather than decorative, purpose.

Common items made from ABS:

  • Plastic plumbing.
  • Casing for electronic devices (possibly the one you're on right now)
  • Plastic trim on cars.
  • Children's toys.
